About

Hey, I'm Chris!

Channeling a background in action sports, my style is all about letting moments unfold naturally and being in the right place when they do.

No fake smiles, weird posing or anything like that.

My skillset is in creating an atmosphere that's ready for play and the kids do the rest.

Every image I take is part of an ongoing journey. One I'm honored to share with you.

FAQ
Common questions.
Where do sessions happen?
Outside, always. Usually themed around what your kids are into right now. Swimmers go to the lake, bike kids go to the hills. And if you're not sure, I've got plenty of ideas ready.
How long does a session take?
About three hours is the sweet spot before they completely tucker out. A little shorter if we're in water.
What should they wear?
The trick is to avoid "photoshoot outfits." No matching khakis. Instead, dress for the theme of the day. Pool day: goggles, colorful swimmers. Day on the lake: overalls, baseball cap. Think bold colors, organic textures, and most importantly, what they feel good in.
How many photos do we get, and when?
The exact number varies based on how the session unfolds, but we usually land on a few dozen keepers. You'll have them back within two weeks, usually sooner.
What if the weather is bad?
Rain, snow, even storms all have their own character and honestly add to the scene. If it's just a flat overcast day we can move things around to catch some sun.
What ages do you shoot?
The sweet spot is 2 to 11. Old enough to play, explore, race, and have fun.
How much does it cost?
Sessions start at $400, with most families investing around $550.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes! Twice a year around Christmas and 4th of July I run a series of free community shoots. Slots are limited but if you want to be notified when they come up make sure to drop your email in the form.
